Lala, whose real identity remains hidden from the public domain, is a qualified social worker, author and OK dating columnist and the podcast gave us a fantastic reach to share our experience and knowledge.
The podcast was about the complexities of domestic abuse and looks at some of the challenges we see around the abuse itself; misinformation, risk, the use of codewords, being well-intentioned vs well-informed, the different dynamics of domestic abuse, spiritual abuse as well as sexual abuse and BDSM within a domestically abusive relationship. Nothing was off limits in this really frank, open discussion!
